Q: Do I need to make a reservation?

A: Reservations are required to guarantee your seat on the shuttle for the specified time. Walk-ons are welcome based on seat availability.

Q: How much time should I allow from my arrival time to make the shuttle?

A: While you should be able to make it from your terminal to the baggage claim area in ten minutes or less, we recommend at least a half hour allowance if you have checked luggage.

Q: How early should I schedule the shuttle back to the airport?

A: We recommend taking a shuttle that is scheduled to get you to the airport at least an hour and a half prior to your departure time. In the event of inclement weather (especially in winter), we recommend erring on the side of caution as delays and longer travel time are possible.

Q: What if my flight is delayed?

A: While South Tahoe Airporter does not issue refunds for cancellation, we will change your reservation to the next available shuttle in the case of flight delays.

Q: I’m staying in South Lake Tahoe, but not at one of the resorts listed. Can I still use your shuttle?
A: Yes. While South Tahoe Airporter will only stop at the six listed properties (Lakeside Inn, Horizon, Harvey’s, Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, Harrah’s and Mt Bleu Resort), you may use the South shore transit system to connect to these resorts. Q: Are the transactions I place on your Web site secure?

A: Yes. The entire South Tahoe Airporter ticketing process runs on a 256 bit secure server.

Q: I will require wheelchair assistance, can you accommodate?

A: To accommodate wheelchair requests, we require booking 48 hours before departure.

Q: Where can I purchase tickets?

A: Reservations can be booked online using our convenient self-serve ticketing system. Our In person Check In and Ticketing Counter is just beyond DOOR B in the Baggage Claim area, behind the National Car Rental Counter.

    Tickets cannot be purchased and are NOT available from at any of our drop-off and pick-up Hotel sites in South Lake Tahoe.

Q: Where will you be picking me up from?

A: RTA: AFTER CHECKING IN AT OUR COUNTER You will then proceed to Door D at the North end of the terminal area while watching for overhead signage designating: “Hotel Shuttles, Bus Loadings & Taxi Departures.

Lakeside: Side entrance

Hard Rock: Front entrance, near valet.

Harvey’s: Bus depot behind Starbucks.

LTRH: Valet

Harrah’s: Front entrance, near valet.

Montbleu: Side entrance, near parking lot.

Q: What will the bus look like that is picking us up?

A: It will be an Amador Stage Line Bus, Temsa Bus, or Sprinter Van.
