Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations are required to guarantee your seat on the shuttle for the specified time. Walk-ons are welcome based on seat availability.

While you should be able to make it from your terminal to the baggage claim area in 45 minutes or less, we recommend at least a half hour allowance if you have checked luggage.

We recommend taking a shuttle that is scheduled to get you to the airport at least an hour and a half prior to your departure time. In the event of inclement weather (especially in winter), we recommend erring on the side of caution as delays and longer travel time are possible.

While South Tahoe Airporter does not issue refunds for cancellation, we will change your reservation to the next available shuttle in the case of flight delays.

Yes. While South Tahoe Airporter will only stop at the six listed properties (Golden Nugget, Harrah’s , Edgewood, Harvey’s, Margaritaville Lake Tahoe Resort, Harah’s, and Bally’s) you may use ride share, taxi, or Tahoe Transit to connect to other locations. For transit information, please visit: https://ss-tma.org/lake-link/ Note: Edgewood only allows registered guests to exit the bus.

Yes. The entire South Tahoe Airporter ticketing process runs on a 256 bit secure server.

To accommodate wheelchair requests, we require booking 48 hours before departure.

Reservations can be booked online using our convenient self-serve ticketing system. Our In person Check In and Ticketing Counter is just beyond DOOR B in the Baggage Claim area, behind the National Car Rental Counter.
Tickets cannot be purchased and are NOT available from at any of our drop-off and pick-up Hotel sites in South Lake Tahoe.

Hard Rock: North entrance near valet and parking garage. Edgewood: The Lodge valet. Harvey’s: bus loading zone near Starbucks. Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel: near valet. Harrah’s: near valet. Bally’s: in the alley between Bally’s and CVS.

Amador Stage Lines bus or South Tahoe Airporter Sprinter type van with green, red, and white paint scheme.

At the very end of baggage claim, you will see Door D. Exit through those doors to the bus loading zone. You will see a large green and white Amador Stage Lines bus or a South Tahoe Airporter van.

Margaritaville (Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel). About a 2-3 minute walk.

No, we only drop off and pick up from Hard Rock, Edgewood, Harveys, Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, Harrah’s and Bally’s (formly MontBleu). If your hotel is not listed, we recommend you take our shuttle to Stateline and then uber/taxi/lyft from there.

We do not offer refunds, but we can change your ticket for up to a year from the travel date.

Edgewood only allows registered guests to exit the bus.

The airporter is an on-time service. You can get on the next available schedule.

It depends on the time of year and time of the route. Book your ticket to guarantee a seat. Walk-ons welcome if seats are available.

Yes, if seats are available. Please check in with the airport desk by National Rental Car and Door B or with the bus driver.

We recommend that customers take a free shuttle to any of the local casinos and eat, drink, and be merry- then join us back at the airport for your ride to Lake Tahoe.
